Volle’s Bridal has been providing formal wear to the residents of Chicago since 1970 and has prom dresses and formal gowns from the finest designers in the industry just waiting for you at our seven thousand square foot facility in Lake Zurich, a suburb thirty five miles northwest of Chicago, fifteen miles from Wisconsin’s border and sixty miles from Iowa. Chicago prom goers and visitors from neighboring states make up the bulk of our clientele, with some national and European customers visiting us each year.
What makes our boutique a legend is our owner. Volle Halthen has been in the fashion industry in one form or another since she was a teenager and to this day she works through prom season giving each girl special attention and sending them off to prom with the finest prom dresses on the market from Scala USA, Alyce, Flirt by Maggie Sottero, Jessica McClintock, Sherri Hill, and more.

Volle and her family have run the boutique since it first opened in 1970 and today still pay personal attention to every customer who walks through their doors. Girls looking for prom dresses or accessories will be guided through the massive retail space and shown where to find what they are looking for and given advice on whether it will match or not. Volle herself, having had all sons, is always happy to sit with a young girl and discuss fashion with her. “Each of these fine young ladies is like a daughter to me,” she says. “I want their prom to be the absolute best night of their lives.”
