Taylor Cooper accompanies Linh Hoang. He is from
Jarrell High School in Texas as one of six
finalists in this years competition.
Taylor, wearing a tuxedo by Jean Yves
in this photo, is an up and coming
basketball player who wants to pursue
a degree in business while he is hopefully
playing college ball next year. He feels
that if he continues to push himself
and help others achieve their goals
that he will be successful too.
Linh is a scholar and Taylor is a
student athlete, two categories that
are normally on opposite sides of high
school class distinction, but both agree
that the number one issue teens need
to deal with today is focus. Taylor
feels that many teens focus on the
wrong things in life. Linh takes it one
step further and encourages other girls
and guys her age to be aware of the
real life issues that affect them and
get more involved in finding solutions.
Teens need to feel less apathetic,
she says. They need to find something
they believe in and do something to
make it better.
Taylors idea of a perfect prom night
is arriving in a huge limo with a beautiful
girl on his arm and partying all night
long with his closest friends. Linh
simply wants to have a night where
nothing goes wrong and everything
goes according to plan. She would
like her prom date to be an intelligent,
outgoing young man who shares her
love of music. Taylor wants to go with
Adriana Lima.
Both of these amazing young people
would like to encourage their fellow
teens across the country to strive
to be the very best they can be.
Linh suggests you be confident and
determined and Taylor believes that
if you keep pushing and dont give
up you will be successful. These two
may be different in many ways, but
its no surprise that theyre both finalists
in this years Prom Guide Teen Search
modeling and scholarship competition.
