Prom Guide 2009
Teen Model Search
Winners

This year’s Prom Guide Teen Search modeling and scholarship competition was definitely an enjoyable experience for all parties who were involved. The staff at Prom Guide would like to express our gratitude to the seven finalists, a mix of our best and brightest high school seniors from across the country that were all good sports throughout the entire process and an absolute joy to work with.

Finalists got the star treatment all day long. They were treated to fashion from high end designers and fussed over by celebrity stylists. Their shoes were from Coloriffics and Special Occasions; dresses were from Alyce Design and Terani Prom; accessories were courtesy of Siman Tu and Jewel Mac; and the models’ looks were perfected by celebrity cosmetologist, Vikki Starr and Danielle Irene. On hand to provide his expert advice was Prom Guide’s stylist, Clifford Wray III, who partnered with photographer Jeff Bucari to capture each model’s best look.

It’s a once in a lifetime experience, and aside from all the fun memories, everyone went home with a ton of Prom Guide loot, including a custom diamondshaped “Prom Guide Cover Model” plaque, an exclusive Prom Guide T-shirt and a $250 scholarship. They also have the special distinction of appearing on the cover of their region’s edition of Prom Guide magazine.

All of the models were superstars, but at the end of the day, only one could be Prom Guide’s Top Model, and this year, it was Linh Hoag. She dazzled all with her stunning prom look. She was beaming when she won the top prize: a $10,000 model contract presented by Alyce Design. It was a day Linh will never forget!
