selected by her peers to model for Prom Guide, she knew it
would be a special event; her prom dress was provided
by Tony Bowls Paris; her prom shoes were provided by Sizzle Shoes; her makeup
applied by celebrity makeup artist Lazarus, and she is featured
with Jacob Johnson of Powell High School. He is wearing a tuxedo by
Jean Yves. Sarah Reardon is one of Prom Guide 2008 scholarship recipient.
Prom Guide had a chance to chat with Sarah at the photo shoot.
Prom Guide: Where did you first hear about the Prom Guide
teen model search contest & scholarship?
Sarah Reardon: Through our school newsletter.
Magazine: On a scale of 1-10, how psyched are you for
the prom?
Cover Model: 10!!
Magazine: Is this your first experience in modeling?
Cover Model: Yes.
Magazine: Do you have a spa/salon day planned with your
friends to do your hair or make-up?
Cover Model: I don’t have one planned yet, but I definitely will
when the time comes.
Magazine: So, very important question, which designer are
you wearing?
Cover Model: Abercrombie and Forever 21 and Ugg Australia.
Magazine: Have you already got a date for the prom, or are
you going with a group from class?
Cover Model: No date yet.
Magazine: Other than class, how do you like to spend your
time in school?
Cover Model: In school, I like to make as many friends as
possible, go out and do service, and tutor.
Magazine: How would you say that you show “love” to
your school?
Cover Model: I show love to my school by always being kind
and friendly to all my classmates and underclassmen
– especially to kids who I know could use a friend.
Magazine: When you’re not in school, where do you spend
most of your time?
Cover Model: I spend it at work or shopping and hanging out
with my friends.
Magazine: Where are you and your friends going after the
prom?
Cover Model: Right now we aren’t sure where we’re going,
but usually we just spend the rest of the night at a
friend’s house.
Magazine: If you could have your pick of a “dream date,”
name the celebrity or star you would ask.
Cover Model: Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy.
Magazine: Where will you be going to eat after the prom?
Cover Model: We have dinner at the prom.
Magazine: Who would be the best band or artist for you and
your classmates at your prom?
Cover Model: At the prom, our music teacher brings his band to
play a lot of oldies and modern music, and I think this
works out really well.
Magazine: Graduation is upon you, do you have plans for
college or work?
Cover Model: After I graduate, I’m going to attend college in
Ohio and study Fashion.
Magazine: If you had a time-machine and could teleport
to the future 20 years, imagine and describe what
you’re doing.
Cover Model: In 20 years, I hope to be living in New York–
either modeling or working for a well-known designer.
