Choosing the right prom theme is one of the really fun parts of planning a prom. Usually this is done by the student body or a committee that has been elected by the student body to set up the senior prom. There are many creative ideas when it comes to choosing a prom theme. • New York Prom Theme: Dance under the Manhattan skyline and set the hall up with classic New York scenery that everyone can identify with.
• Millennium Prom Theme: Go with something new and modern and dress up the hall with silver and glass. Add some laser lighting and set up an entrance as a star gate and you’ll transport your classmates to another world.
• Tropical Island Prom Theme: This one you can have a lot of fun with. Start with a Caribbean backdrop and add in some palm trees on the floor, coconut cups for beverages, and a menu of appetizers from the islands.
Your prom theme should be something that everyone in school can get into.
